Meeting: Aspect Oriented Programming with ColdSpring - 24th Feb 2011

TOPIC: Aspect Oriented Programming with ColdSpring

SYNOPSIS:

"Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP) may simultaneously be the most useful feature that ColdSpring offers and the most difficult to understand."

This preso will look at:

How to do AOP - some actual code, with practical real world examples. Also a brief overview of ColdSpring itself.

Why use AOP - a discussion of how Aspect Oriented Programming can solve problems you didn't know you had, including a look at how AOP can improve both your implementation and your workflow. But also some thoughts on how it perfectly OK to not use AOP, and maybe some other approaches to solve these problems.
